Public Meeting will be held at the Daviess County High School Auditorium
Meeting held between 5:30 pm. and 7:30 pm
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (March 24, 2023 – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has scheduled a public meeting for the proposed reconstruction of KY 1456 in Daviess County.
The purpose and need of this project is to improve motorist safety along KY 1456 from KY 54 to Hayden Road.
Residents of Daviess County are invited to review two alternatives at a public meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 28.
The meeting will be held at the Daviess County High School Auditorium from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
The project location is on KY 1456 KY (Thruston Dermont Road) from KY 54 to Hayden Road.
The public will be able to review the two alternates that includes a rural template and an urban template. KYTC will be widening the roadway, addressing vertical and horizontal deficiencies, as well adding pedestrian facilities.
