Traffic Advisory: Daytime Closures of KY 3550 at Concord in Lewis County
Embankment repairs start Monday, Nov. 7
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Nov. 4, 2022) – Continued embankment repairs on KY 3550 at Concord in Lewis County will require temporary daytime road closures over the next two weeks.
Beginning Monday, Nov. 7, crews will close KY 3550 along the Ohio River about a half mile west of KY 57 at Concord (near the 4 mile marker) to shore up the roadway where contractors installed supporting steel T-rail earlier this year.
While crews are working, motorists using KY 3550 during work hours – 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, except the Election Day and Veterans Day holidays – should seek alternate routes through Trinity Station or other means.
Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
