Project for Russell Cave Road/KY 353 in
Fayette County
Part of the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP)
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 25, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of operations in progress for Russell Cave Road/KY 353. The work is part of the HSIP (Highway Safety Improvement Program). The work includes roadway rehabilitation and asphalt pavement.
Wednesday, Oct. 26 through Monday, Oct. 31 – 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. weekdays
Note: no weekend work is planned at this time
Russell Cave Road/KY 353
- alternating lane closures will be in effect from the the I 75 Overpass (milepoint 1.372) extending Northeast to the Fayette-Bourbon County line (milepoint 11.113)
- motorists can travel through the work zone
- the project is a distance of 09.74 miles of asphalt pavement and roadway rehabilitation
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
