Update - The Bluegrass Parkway/KY 9002 now open in Anderson County
Eastbound bridge between milepoints 59.0-62.0 over the KY River
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 11, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. The Eastbound bridge on the Bluegrass Parkway/KY 9002 is now open.
The bridge and surrounding area were previously closed due to a traffic incident that occurred earlier today. The location is near the Anderson-Woodford County line.
Tuesday, Oct. 11 – 2:30 p.m.
The Bluegrass Parkway/KY 9002
- the Eastbound bridge over the KY River is now open
- the bridge is located between milepoints 59.0 and 62.0 (Exit 59)
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
