Closure needed on KY 1936 (Pond Creek/Kenton Station Road) in Campbell County for Road Repair starting Monday, Oct. 3
Closure at mile markers 2 to 3
COVINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 29, 2022) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6 Office would like to advise motorists of a road closure to repair a slipping roadway at mile markers 2 to 3 on KY 1936 (Pond Creek/Kenton Station Road) starting Monday, Oct. 3 ending Friday, Oct. 7. Repair work will take place daily from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Local traffic will have access to sections of KY 1936. On the southbound side, the roadway will be fully closed for all traffic beginning at Wolf Road. On the northbound side, local traffic may pass Pleasant Ridge, but once they approach address number 239 the road will be completely closed. Motorists should be work zone alert and watch for crews and equipment.
