Closure of KY 999 in McCracken County on Wednesday
Necessary for roadside vegetation management
PADUCAH, Ky. (April 24, 2019) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists KY 999/Krebb Station Road will be closed between KY 1014/Houser Road (milepoint 2.25) and KY 1286/South Friendship Road (milepoint 0.45) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24.
Crews will be cutting back trees and roadside vegetation that hang over the road and can hit large vehicles like school buses and trucks.
Motorists can travel around the work zone via KY 1014, KY 1288 and KY 1241. Drivers should expect delays and avoid the area if possible. When traveling around the work zone, motorists should slow down and use extra caution.
