“I VOTED” STICKER CONTEST FINALISTS ANNOUNCED
Kentuckians Can Vote for their Favorite at the Kentucky State Fair
Frankfort, Ky. (August 16, 2024) – Secretary of State Michael Adams announced the nine finalists for the inaugural “I Voted” Sticker Contest. Secretary Adams narrowed it down to three choices from elementary, from middle, and from high schools respectively.
“It’s never too soon for young Kentuckians to engage civically, and we’re glad to enlist our kids to design the “I Voted” sticker, and to let Kentuckians decide which design will win,” said Adams.
The finalists are:
Elementary School
- Cash Litzler, Flemingsburg Elementary School, Fleming County
- Addy Wells, Jesse Stuart Elementary School, Hopkins County
- Caroline “Farris” Renfro, Lexington Christian Academy, Fayette County
Middle School
- Lillian Bonczkiewicz, Homeschool, Carlisle County
- Eden Barksdale, Barksdale Home School, Ohio County
- Ava Taylor, Faith Christian School, Livingston County
High School
- Ella Dollison, Trigg County High School
- Riley Taylor, Russell County High School
- Colin Harris, Lafayette High School, Fayette County
Kentuckians can cast their ballot for their favorite sticker at the Secretary of State’s Office booth at the Kentucky State Fair. The top vote getter’s design will be printed on stickers and sent to interested county clerks to provide to voters in November.
