 Progress continues on the renovation of Pee Wee Park on Klondike Lane. We are pleased to have a new Pickleball Court, the only one in the Louisville Metro Parks system. Pickleball is the new sport taking off across the country and we are hopeful you take advantage of this new part of Pee Wee Park soon. There is even an International Federation of Pickle Ball. MSD offers two voluntary programs under our Plumbing Modification Program, to reduce basement backups and remove improper connections to the sewer system. This program has helped thousands of property owners prevent basement flooding, decrease sewer system overflows to our streams and river and improve water quality within Jefferson County. MSD offers this voluntary program, usually at NO CHARGE TO YOU. To protect your home and the community’s streams from overflows of untreated sewage, we invite you, as the property owner, to participate in these voluntary programs.
Basement Backflow Prevention Program Offers help to MSD customers who have experienced a sewer related backup in their basement or live in an area with a history of wet weather basement backups.
Sump Pump / Downspout Disconnection Program Offers help to MSD customers to remove improper connections from the sewer system.
Operations and Maintenance Information for Installed Devices If you are already a program participate or have one of the devices (listed below), learn how to properly operate and maintain it by downloading operations and maintenance information. The information covers the following devices:
