Move Louisville Workshops at Southwest Government Center

Move Louisville

Your input is important to the success of the Move Louisville project that aims to generate ideas for transforming transportation in our community to meet the needs of the future. The first set of workshops recently took place in January to great success, and the second stage focusing on South Louisville and West Louisville is set to begin. The kick-off event for these Move Louisville workshops will be held Monday, February 10 at 6:00pm at the Southwest Government Center (7219 Dixie Highway).

During these workshops, residents are invited to talk with the transportation engineers and designers and review maps, photographs, and road plots as they discuss where transportation-related changes are needed and how modifications will affect commuters, traffic noise, businesses, the environment and community connectivity.

The website provides information on tax credits, federal subsidies, and private insurance plans that participate in the Kynect system, and allows individuals to compare plans that suit their needs.

Under the ACA, all individuals must carry health insurance beginning January 1, 2014 and Kynect allows you to find affordable options to meet that obligation.

PLEASE NOTE: March 30, 2013 is the FINAL day to enroll in coverage that qualifies or you will have to wait until the next open enrollment period.
