Your input is important to the
success of the Move Louisville project that aims to generate ideas
for transforming transportation in our community to meet the needs of the
future. The first set of workshops recently took place in January to great
success, and the second stage focusing on South Louisville and West Louisville
is set to begin. The kick-off event for these Move Louisville workshops
will be held Monday, February 10 at 6:00pm at the Southwest Government Center
(7219 Dixie Highway).
During these workshops, residents
are invited to talk with the transportation engineers and designers and review
maps, photographs, and road plots as they discuss where transportation-related
changes are needed and how modifications will affect commuters, traffic noise,
businesses, the environment and community connectivity.
