METCO Small Business Loans
|
METCO is the city’s small business lending program, to help small business owners grow or startup their business. METCO also has programs to assist commercial property owners in renovating the façade of their building, make the property handicap accessible and make it a more energy-efficient building. METCO has two major goals: (1) create jobs and (2) assist businesses in underserved areas to provide services that the community lacks and needs. METCO has been providing small business loans since the late 1970’s and relies primarily on repayments to supply the necessary funding for small business owners.
