Yesterday, Councilwoman Mulvey-Woolridge sang at the Volunteers of America Mid-States Power of 1 Breakfast. She was happy to give back in honor of the life-changing transformations that the VOA helps individuals make.
The dedication and service that Volunteers of America provides to our community make a lasting impact on so many individuals and families. Sue Fox, a mother and VOA Community Outreach Supervisor, shared her remarkable journey of overcoming addiction and a federal indictment. Sue first connected with VOA through their Recovery Center in Manchester, Kentucky, and recently celebrated 10 years of sobriety.
We are grateful for the staff and counselors at the VOA for their dedication to the worthiest cause - saving lives.
