Association of Community Ministries Annual Report

The Association of Community Ministries (ACM) recently shared its 2025/2026 Annual Report, providing a snapshot of the services its 13 member ministries have provided to neighbors in need across Metro Louisville. The report shows a significant increase in services over last year, reflecting both the hard work of these ministries and their ability to maximize the impact of Metro funding.

District 24 is served by Ministries United of South Central Louisville (MUSCL) and Fern Creek/Highview United Ministries. We are incredibly thankful for their continued dedication to helping our neighbors during times of need and for the difference they make in our community every day.

Project Warm Volunteers Needed!

It's already the month of October which means Fall Season is here and cooler weather is arriving. The annual Blitz event at Project Warm is open to any older adults (60+ in age) as well as disabled citizens (of all ages) for winterization assistance. They are asking for anyone who needs this help to personally contact the Project Warm Office at (502) 636-9276.

For over 40 years, Project Warm has relied on volunteer teams to help weatherize homes for older adults and disabled citizens in Jefferson County. This year, they are hoping to help a total of 125 -150 people on November 7 & 14.  To make this happen they are planning to create 50 volunteer teams of 3 - 6 persons.  Normally the volunteer work takes place 9:00 AM - 1:00 or 2:00 PM.  It's hands-on experience and not only helps keep people warm, but reduces their energy bill costs too.  For more information or to register, please use the QR code on the flyer or call 502-636-9276.
