Councilman Khalil Batshon Invites Residents to
“Light Up Valley Station”

Councilman Khalil Batshon (District 25) is excited to invite residents of southwest Jefferson County and beyond to join him for the annual “Light Up Valley Station” on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2 PM to 6 PM. This festive gathering will be held at the intersection of Deering Road and Valley Station Road.

 

The celebration will take place at the intersection of Deering Road and Valley Station Road. Parking will be available at 10330 Deering Road, 5350 Valley Station Road, and 5301 Valley Station Road. Deering Road and Valley Station Rd will be closed at the intersection to accommodate the stage and local vendors.

 

Highlights include the Tree Lighting Ceremony, scheduled for sundown, along with family activities such as free hot chocolate, cookies, and fun activities for kids. This year, we also have activities for adults and additional warming areas to ensure everyone stays cozy. A dedicated area for pictures with Santa will make it a memorable experience for families.
