Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg and the Louisville Orchestra will present a free tribute concert for the community following the tragic loss of UPS Airlines Flight 2976. The program is intended to:
- Honor the memory of those who lost their lives,
- Recognize the courage of the first responders who answered the call,
- Pay our respects to the Grade A Auto Parts family who lost beloved employees and customers, and whose colleagues saved lives with acts of heroism, and
- Acknowledge the efforts of the many UPS employees who supported the company’s response.
The free concert is available to all community members and will take place this Thursday, November 20 at 7:00 p.m. in Whitney Hall at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free. Program and more details are available on the Louisville Orchestra website.
The concert is free to attend and the city will provide free parking for the concert in the PARC Riverfront Parking Garage at 141 North Sixth Street. Those planning to attend are encouraged to register on the Louisville Orchestra website. |
