  River Road Fully Reopened during August
Zone 2 UPDATE: On August 8, River Road fully reopened while Louisville Water takes a break from pipe work on the road throughout August.
We are still working on Transylvania Avenue near the intersection with Mason Boulevard. See the map below for the current active construction zone.
Drivers will notice a smoother ride along River Road. We paved and restriped the road along the route where we completed work. Louisville Water continues to install pipe in other areas.
Work will resume on River Road on Tuesday, September 2. We will start near Glenview Avenue and Lime Kiln Lane. We will repost signage directing drivers to current entry and exit paths around these areas.

 Work in Zone 2 is expected to wrap up in early November. The entire project will continue through this year and into 2026. Our goal is to finish most of the work on River Road by next summer.
