For the week of July 28
Zone 2 (River Road between Blankenbaker Lane and Lime Kiln Lane) will be limited to local access only. There will be staggered barricades to provide residents with access where River Road intersects with Lime Kiln Lane and also at Blankenbaker Lane.
Our active construction zone remains in the same general area this week (July 28– August 3). See the map below for details. We will be working on River Road between Glenview Avenue and Lime Kiln Lane. Use Blankenbaker Lane to access Glenview Avenue. Follow signage for current entry and exit access.
We are working to create a temporary gravel road between the end of Mason Boulevard and Mayfair Avenue. Beginning August 4, this temporary road extension will allow access to River Road for residents of Transylvania Avenue and Mason Boulevard while we work on Transylvania Avenue. The temporary access road is expected to be in place for approximately two months. Once the work is completed, we will remove the gravel and restore the area with seed and straw.
Use Blankenbaker Lane to access these locations:
- Knights of Columbus
- Rivers Edge Road
- Waterglen Place
- Longview Lane
- Boxhill Lane
- Woodside Road
- Rockledge Drive
- Glenview Avenue
Use Lime Kiln Lane to access these locations:
Eifler Beach Road

Work in Zone 2 is expected to last approximately three to six months. The entire project will continue through this year and into 2026. Our goal is to finish most of the work on River Road by next summer.

Next Monday August 4 crews are scheduled to start work on Transylvania Avenue. They will start near River Road and move toward the end of the road. Customers will always have access to their homes and there should not be any disruption of water service. During construction residents will be asked to use the temporary road that has been constructed between the end of Mason Boulevard and Mayfair Avenue. The work is expected to last approximately one month. Once completed, Transylvania Avenue will be completely repaved, and the temporary road will be removed and the area restored with seed and straw.
