Neighborhood meeting for a proposed zone change from C-1 to C-2 within the Jeffersontown Commons Shopping Center located at 9525 Taylorsville Road

We are writing to invite you to a meeting we have scheduled to present neighbors with our zone change plan on approximately 2.54 acres of the 12.41 acre site located as above. The zone change request is to allow redevelopment of the western portion of the existing building to accommodate a new tenant that requires an outdoor display area prompting the C-2 zoning designation. The balance of the center will remain C-1.

Accordingly, we filed a plan for pre-application review with The Office of Planning that was assigned case number 25-ZONEPA-0071 and case manager Molly Clark. We would like to show and explain this plan to neighbors so that we might hear what thoughts, issues and concerns you may have.

In that regard, a meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Jeffersontown Library located at 10635 Watterson Trail, Louisville, Kentucky, 40299.
