 Join the Anti-Racism Challenge
The upcoming quarterly Anti-Racism Challenge begins on July 4, and how fitting. As we celebrate our historic independence, we are more committed than ever to supporting freedom and justice for everyone. In these times, when we see growing inequity and threats to basic rights, we hear concerned citizens asking, “What can I do?” Here is one thing we can do. Will you copy the info below and post it in your June newsletter and share on social media?
TAKE THE ANTI-RACISM CHALLENGE
The free, 4-week, Anti-Racism Challenge offers opportunities to educate ourselves and stand in support of the values we cherish: freedom and justice for all.
Here’s how it works: Each Friday morning in July, participants will receive an email that lists approximately 12 anti-racism activities. Some possible activities: contact an elected official to voice your thought on an issue, watch a film by a Black filmmaker or artists, read an article or listen to a podcast, attend an exhibit by a Black artist or a lecture by a Black leader, visit a Black-owned business, make a donation to a justice non-profit, journal on your own experiences to cultivate a deeper understanding and practice of anti-racism, etc. We ask each participant to complete at least 3 of the 12 listed activities.
The Challenge is free. To participate, sign up at this link:

Sessions will be held one evening per week from 6–9 PM at the LMPD Training Academy. Space is limited to 35 participants.
Whether a student, professional, advocate, or simply curious, “She Serves” offers a unique chance to gain insight, build community, and grow as a leader. Apply today and help shape the future — one voice at a time.
