In each case, I submitted letters to both Metro ABC and Kentucky ABC urging that these licenses be denied. I know many of you did the same, and our collective efforts made a difference.
Metro ABC has denied liquor licenses for two locations on Outer Loop:
- 6450 Outer Loop (former Burger King)
- 6720 Outer Loop (JR Mini Mart)
These denials follow a similar decision last year for 7105 Fegenbush Lane, the former Cadillac’s Fish and Chicken. Please note that applicants have the right to appeal Metro ABC's decisions to Kentucky ABC.
I want to thank Metro ABC Director Bradley Silveria for hearing the voices of the Highview community. These denials were largely driven by public sentiment. Your voice and participation do matter and did make a difference.
Together, we can continue working to attract positive businesses to our community.
