Since being elected as the Council representative for Metro Council District 1, Councilwoman Hawkins made a promise to advocate for the much needed repairs and renovations at District 1's very own Park DuValle, Dr. William G. Weathers Senior Building. This improvement increases the quality of life for our senior residents that are near and dear to our hearts.

After 3 years of being in the seat, this finally came to fruition as Councilwoman Tammy Hawkins joined LMHA and the senior residents of the Park DuValle, Dr. William G. Weathers Senior Building to announce and celebrate the exciting renovation of the floors inside the building after 22 years.
