I'm not a huge fan of social media, but against my better judgment, we're on Facebook and Instagram!
Please follow along for updates and goings on from District 10 in between enewsletters!
Be aware - there is a flood watch this weekend
More rain is on the way, the ground is well saturated and that may cause a lot of runoff. While the Ohio River may not flood, all our local tributaries, Goose Creek, Beargrass Creek, Salt River, Cedar Creek, Floyds Fork, Harrods Creek, Mil Creek, Pennsylvania Run, and Pond Creek will all be capable of a flash flood during a hard rain event.

The photo at left is from February 2018 when a driver on Park Boundary Road, unaware the road was covered with swiftly running water, was swept away. The driver was able to climb out and shimmied up into the tree. He was rescued and was hospitalized with hypothermia. |
Don’t drive through standing water, respond correctly to all admonishments on warning signs, don’t drive around them, and be doubly cautious at night. |
