Previous side-street stop configuration returning Wednesday, Jan. 29
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 28, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) announces upcoming changes to traffic control measures at the KY 22 (Ballardsville Road) and KY 146 (La Grange Road) intersection, locally known as Reardon's Crossing, in Oldham County.
The traffic control measures at the intersection will be restored to its previous configuration, with a side-street stop on KY 22 (Ballardsville Road) at KY 146 (La Grange Road), allowing free-flowing movements on KY 146 (La Grange Road).
The change comes after field reviews, and traffic evaluations ahead of an intersection improvement project, showed that the all-way stop installed at the intersection last year is no longer needed.
KYTC crews are set to remove the existing stop signs on KY 146 (La Grange Road) on Wednesday, Jan. 29, requiring intermittent lane closures from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Motorists should heed signage and use caution when traveling through the work zone. Temporary "New Traffic Pattern Ahead" signs will be installed to alert motorists of the change in traffic control measures.
