Councilman Khalil Batshon Invites Residents to
“Light Up Valley Station”

Louisville, KY - Councilman Khalil Batshon (District 25) is excited to invite residents of southwest Jefferson County and beyond to join him for the annual “Light Up Valley Station” on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 2 PM to 6 PM. This festive gathering will be held at the intersection of Deering Road and Valley Station Road.

The celebration will take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 2 PM to 6 PM at the intersection of Deering Road and Valley Station Road. Parking will be available at 10330 Deering Road, 5350 Valley Station Road, and 5301 Valley Station Road. Deering Road will be closed to accommodate the stage and local vendors. The Valley Dairy Freeze and Jigg’s Fruit Market will host various planned activities throughout the afternoon.

Highlights include the Tree Lighting Ceremony, scheduled for sundown, along with family activities such as free hot chocolate, cookies, and fun activities for kids. This year, we are excited to introduce new activities for adults and additional warming areas to ensure everyone stays cozy. A dedicated area for pictures with Santa will make it a memorable experience for families.
