 The JCPS Language Services department is looking for someone qualified who is bilingual in English and another language and can help international families.

Policy Updates
+ USCIS is now accepting applications for Parole in Place for eligible spouses and children of U.S. citizens
On August 19, USCIS began accepting applications for the new parole in place program for eligible spouses and children of U.S. Citizens. Eligible individuals must file the ONLINE form I-131F with USCIS along with supporting documentation to demonstrate eligibility and pay the $580 filing fee. There is no fee waiver available for Form I-131F.
Examples of supporting documents to demonstrate eligibility are listed in the General Questions section of the USCIS Frequently Asked Questions About Keeping Families Together webpage.
+ Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) for Lebanon
On July 26, 2024, President Biden announced and authorized DED for eligible Lebanese nationals. This announcement means that for the next 18 months, eligible individuals will not be deported to Lebanon. Eligible individuals from Lebanon will also be able to apply for a work permit.
