Hello, all!
Please allow me to introduce myself. For those who may not know me, my name is Shameka Parrish-Wright and I am the Louisville Metro Council Representative for District 3. I was elected on November 7th, 2023 and was officially sworn in on Monday, November 13th. I am proud to say I have already begun working, and have been assigned to the Public Works, Public Safety, and Government Oversight and Appointment Committees.
For anyone who has reached out to me, thank you! Please be patient as our team gets settled in and we will contact you as soon as possible. We want to continue to hear from you on ways we can uplift all 12 neighborhoods in District 3, so please keep using the online contact form and calling the office at 502-574-1103.
I am also thrilled to introduce our District 3 Team (below). We are here to SERVE YOU! I am so excited to hear from all of you and work together to uplift everyone in District 3 and across Louisville Metro. There is plenty more to come, but for now, please meet the team and check out our updated website!

Please join us on Saturday, December 9th at Shively City Hall for our post-swearing in party! We will have food, drinks, and music from 3:30pm to 6:00pm. We look forward to seeing you there and talking about ways we can uplift every neighborhood in the district. This event is free and open to the public.
