Happy Halloween! 

We hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween! There are a wide range of events planned for this weekend for revelers of all ages.

General Election 2023 - VOTE! 

In-person Excused Absentee Voting started Wednesday and will continue October 27, 30, 31 and November 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. only at the Jefferson County Clerk Election Center, 1000 E. Liberty Street. A Ballot Drop Box will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Review rules on qualifications for in-person excused absentee voting. 

In-person No-excuse Absentee (Early) Voting will be November 2, 3, and 4 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at: 

  • The Arterburn (formerly St Matthews Community Center), 310 Ten Pin Lane. 
  • The Jeffersonian, 10617 Taylorsville Road
  • Kentucky Center for African American Heritage, 1701 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd.
  • Lyndon Elks Lodge #2052, 904 Ormsby Lane
  • Sun Valley Community Center, 6505 Bethany Lane 
  • Mary Queen of Peace Gym, 4005 Dixie Highway 
  • Triple Crown Pavilion, 1780 Plantside Drive

Election Day Voting is November 7 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you're not sure where to vote, the Jefferson County Clerk's office can help. 


Operation Rendezvous Veterans Day Parade and Celebration is November 11

The Veterans Day Parade will be Saturday, November 11 starting at noon, on Jefferson Street at 7th and going to 4th Street. There will be a meet and greet and static displays on Jefferson between 4th and 2nd Streets after the parade.
