Street Sweeping in the Urban Services District Tomorrow
Louisville Metro Government sent this bulletin at 09/19/2023 01:06 PM EDTSTREET SWEEPING TOMORROW IN THE URBAN SERVICES DISTRICT IN CERTAIN AREAS
There will be street sweeping in certain parts of the Urban Services District which are part of Metro Council District 26, scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, September 20, 2023.
Please be aware of this and be sure to have your vehicles parked in driveways to allow the street sweepers full access to the street curbs. Signs should be posted on the roadways to be swept.
Public Works Solid Waste Management Services street sweeping continues Wednesday, September 20. “No Parking” notices have been posted on streets scheduled to be swept.
Weather-permitting, the work will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. unless extreme weather conditions occur. We ask the public to heed the “No Parking” notices to ensure the work is conducted without vehicles blocking the streets.
The areas to be swept are, generally, the Avondale neighborhood, the Highgate Springs/Melbourne Heights neighborhood east of Furman Boulevard, and the Brookhaven neighborhood. Also, the subdivisions of McMahan Village, Hill Creek Park, Hunsinger Acres, and Hunsinger Woods Place, off Hunsinger Lane and Hillcreek Road, again all in the Urban Services District.
Also part of tomorrow's street sweeping is that part of the Brookhaven neighborhood in the Urban Services District which is in Metro Council District 18.
