Join the Muhammad Alli Center for a week of activities that highlight his impact, his core principles, and the city he called home. The Muhammad Ali Center is proud to host the 7th Annual Ali Festival, join them in honoring greatness!

It's the second Thursday of the month which can only mean one thing, it's time for the S. 4th Night Market! This event transforms and activates S. 4th St., between Guthrie St. and W. Chestnut St., with a unique outdoor, pop-up shopping and food vendor market in the heart of Louisville.
From 4 to 8 p.m. S. 4th St. closes to vehicular traffic allowing retailers, shoppers, and revelers to utilize the street space and partake in fun! Crowler Catering serves craft beer, wine, and cocktails for you to purchase. Also enjoy a variety musical entertainment throughout the night.

Visit Louisville Slugger Field this Friday for the Slugger Field Movie Night! This family-friendly movie night will feature Encanto (2021), rated PG, and give movie-goers the opportunity to watch a movie under the stars in the outfield!
General admission is $5, or you can purchase a general admission ticket that includes all you can eat popcorn and soda for $12! Get your tickets in advance here. Children 2 and younger enter free.

The Downtown Drive-In is an outdoor movie night series, taking place at Brown-Forman Amphitheater on select Friday nights through October.
Movies will begin at sundown, with the amphitheater open an hour before to allow guests to grab their spot in the theater. The event will include snacks and beer for purchase from local brewer Ten20 Craft Brewery. Movie-goers are also welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs to the viewing.
This Friday's movie is Shrek (2001), rated PG.
No tickets are required for the outdoor film screenings, but guests are encouraged to arrive early to save their spot. The Downtown Drive-In events are weather dependent.

Juneteenth, also known as Emancipation Day or Freedom Day, commemorates the day on June 19, 1865, when Union General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, TX and announced that all enslaved people were to be freed. This came two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued and marked a significant turning point in the fight for freedom and equality.
The Juneteenth Jubilee Celebration is a multi-day celebration of Juneteenth in Louisville. The celebration offers a variety of events honoring the holiday.
Some events include the Kentucky Opera's "Amplify Songs of Justice" on June 10th, Jazz Excursion on the Belle of Louisville on June 11th, the Simmons College of Kentucky Golf Classic on June 12th, and Juneteenth at Louisville Bat on June 13th.

June 16, 6 p.m.: Juneteenth Gala at the Ali Center
The Juneteenth Gala is sponsored by Norton Healthcare, Fifth Third Bank, Republic Bank and the Office of Equity. It will recognize and award historians and future and present leaders for the tremendous work they have done to improve racial equity within the community. The gala will also focus on Juneteenth culinary dishes and its history. Musical entertainment by Jerry Tolson Orchestra and Frankie Raymore and the Groovemasterz. Tickets are $150 and can be purchased here.

June 17, 7 p.m.: “The Fannie Lou Hamer Story”
“The Fannie Lou Hamer Story” is a one-woman play about voting rights activist, Fannie Lou Hamer, through song and storytelling. The event will take place at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage. Tickets are $25 (VIP tickets are $30) and can be purchased here.

June 18, 2 p.m.: Father’s Day & Juneteenth Jazz Brunch
The Kentucky Center for African American Heritage will host Ansyn Banks Legacy Quintet with guest vocalist Karen Chavis and host Marjorie Marshall. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased here. Limited VIP seating is $45.

June 19, 6 p.m.: “Let’s Talk | Bridging the Divide: Load in Nine Times: United States Colored Troops, An Evening with former Kentucky Poet Laureate Frank X Walker” at the Frazier History Museum
Danville native and poet Frank X Walker will debut a collection of poems centered on African Americans in Kentucky during the Civil War. Eighteen of those works will be unveiled as part of the museum’s Commonwealth exhibition. The event is free, but registration is required. Register for this event here.

Visit the Louisville Zoo for the 42nd annual Zoofari! This year’s “Cool Island Breezes” themed event includes specialty appetizers, cocktails, and animal encounters in the Islands exhibit area of the Louisville Zoo where you might catch a glimpse of the elusive Sumatran tiger, Little Blue penguins, orangutans, siamangs, the Malayan tapirs and colorful birds.
You will also experience the Zoo’s Oasis event field for live music, dancing, silent and live auctions and more.
Proceeds from this year’s event will support renovations to the Zoo’s MetaZoo education facility and the Animal Ambassador Program.

Touch a Truck puts your family in the driver’s seat! Visit the parking lot behind the Kentucky Science Center, located at the corner of 8th and W. Washington Streets to get hands on with a variety of trucks and equipment, from bucket trucks to city buses.
Entry to Touch a Truck is free and open to the public. Adults and kids alike will have the chance to dream big as they discover their favorite vehicles and meet the community helpers who make them go.

The Old Louisville Hidden Treasures Garden Tour welcomes garden lovers into the private green spaces of the nation’s largest Victorian residential neighborhood. The gardeners share their personal retreats, tucked behind stately Victorian mansions and protected by vine-covered walls and privacy fences.
In addition to the Garden Tour, guests are encouraged to visit the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum. The Conrad-Caldwell House symbolizes the progressive spirit and Victorian grandeur of Louisville’s Gilded Age.
Purchasing a discounted combo ticket for the Garden Tour allows customers to visit this Victorian mansion either the same weekend of the tour or any other date through the end of July that the museum is open. Also, attendees during the month of June can see a special display of an "Indoor Victorian Garden" showcasing plant varieties throughout the house that were typical of those found in the early 1900's. Remember, this special display is only available during the month of June!
Tickets are $25 day of or $20 in advance. 65 and older tickets are $20, 10 and under enter free. All children must be supervised by an adult. Get your tickets ahead of time here.

There's something for everyone! Participating food trucks include Slushie Lab, Grecian Mama, Six Forks Burger Company, The Celtic Pig, Mr. C's Cheesecake, Bamba Eggrolls, and many more!

Crestwood, KY welcomes thousands of visitors to this two-day free festival held at The Maples Park. In addition to the many local, national and regional artists who attend to showcase a wide variety of artwork, this festival features continuous live entertainment, children’s activities, beverage vendors, and Emerging Artists (students).
For the first time, Arts on the Green is partnering with the Louisville Food Truck Association to have 15 food trucks on site daily, plus free shuttle service to and from Maples Park and South Oldham Middle School, South Oldham High School, and Camden Station Elementary School. Oldham Public Buses also providing 2 shuttles, with handicap parking onsite.
Now in its 23rd year, Arts on the Green has become a premier outdoor juried arts and crafts festival designed for the entire family to enjoy.

Run or walk with pride at the second annual Louisville Pride 5K! Starting and finishing in Iroquois Park at the Iroquois Amphitheater, the Louisville Pride 5K is a family-friendly event for people of all ages, athletic abilities, and skill levels. Run, walk, or push your way through a closed course inside the beautiful park with hundreds of your closest friends to kick off Pride Week in Louisville.
Packet pick-up for the Louisville Pride 5K will take place on Saturday, June 10 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the brand-new Louisville Pride Center (1244 S. 3rd St.). If you are unable to pick up your packet, they will be on site on race morning beginning at 9 a.m.
Everyone who signs up for the Louisville Pride 5K will receive a pair of rainbow socks and a finisher's medal. You will also have the option to purchase a Louisville Pride Foundation running tank top in the registration process. All funds raised will benefit the Louisville Pride Foundation.

Kentucky Performing Arts (KPA), in partnership with Louisville Downtown Partnership and Greater Louisville, Inc., is hosting a job fair to provide support in the ongoing efforts to bolster the revitalization of downtown Louisville.
As a key driver of downtown Louisville economic and cultural activity, KPA is helping neighboring businesses to attract workers. The event provides a much needed shot in the arm for employers, helping them to then serve more customers and increase foot traffic to re-invigorate the downtown economy, business district and the heart of our city.
The job fair is free and open to all. Appointments are not required. KPA will provide free parking in The Kentucky Center parking garage, located on 6th street between Main Street and River Road. Free parking available on first-come, first serve basis.

The Food Truck Clinic is a one-stop-shop where food and beverage vendors can get the green light from the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness (LMPHW), Louisville Division of Fire and Jefferson County Fire Service, and Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) to legally sell food and drinks to the public.
Every Thursday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., from now until Oct. 19, food trucks and other mobile vendors can stop by the alley at Armory Place, behind the Metro Development Center to get their permits to operate.
The Food Truck Clinic not only benefits vendors, but community members, too. Each Thursday, the public is invited to the clinic to enjoy food and beverages after food trucks get the go ahead to open.

Each Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. experience Food Truck Wednesdays at 4th Street between Jefferson and Market Streets! Louisville Downtown Partnership has curated many amazing food trucks to serve lunchtime patrons each Wednesday!
