Louisville Water is implementing a multi-year project to upgrade their water meters.  In the coming weeks, their contractors and employees will do work in a portion of  Metro Council District 11 to replace older meters with new ones.

The map below shows where they will be working and I’ve included a postcard customers will receive in advance of the work.  The installation is quick and will only result in water being turned off for a short period of time, typically less than 30 minutes.  Before the work is performed they will knock on the door to let the customer know what they are doing.  They will also leave a note on the door when the work is complete. 

Louisville Water will provide my office and the Metro Council with updates on the progress of the project.
