Peace Path and Bridge dedicated this morning!

map for Peace path

The Peace Path bridge is marked with a green dot on the map above. It's accessible from Nightingale Road.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the official dedication of the Peace Path and Bridge today. We especially want to thank our partners Metro Parks, Bellarmine University, MSD, the Administration and others who helped bring this concept to reality.

It certainly took a lot longer than we thought it would, but anything worth having is worth the wait. This will be here far longer than any of us. Its impact will benefit us and generations that follow and will allow for meaningful and adventurous connections that will tie neighborhoods and communities safely from U of L, Germantown, Audubon Park and the Highlands.

The pedestrian bridge and path across Beargrass Creek is another step toward making our district more walkable and bikeable.
