Louisville Burger Week is back with $7 burgers from Louisville's most delicious restaurants! From gourmet blends to off-menu specialties we will pay tribute to America’s sweetheart - the Hamburger! Each restaurateur and Chef will prepare their unique take on the burger.
The event gets people to embrace the food, culture and Louisville-love while getting out to eat, drink, and try new places!
New this year - the official Louisville Burger Week app! Along with a list of participating restaurants, their specials, hours and a map, participants will be able to check-in at participating locations throughout the week, earning points for prizes and towards the coveted status of Burger Week royalty. Check in at 5 participating locations and be eligible for a very special grand prize drawing featuring swag and $250 in gift cards!

Art in the Park is back in Central Park for the third year! Louisville Parks and Recreation is partnering with Kentucky Shakespeare to help bring focus to all mediums of art.
Enjoy free arts and crafts activity stations in addition to a mini art show! Grecian Mama Food Truck and Froggy’s Popcorn will be on site at 6 p.m. To finish off the evening, Kentucky Shakespeare will share a hilarious performance of The Merry Wives of Windsor with the community at Central Park’s amphitheater at 8 p.m., a part of the 62nd Annual Shakespeare Festival in the park.
Submit your work for the mini art show here! Artwork must be dropped off to the Joe Creason Administrative Office (1297 Trevilian Way) no later than noon on Thursday, July 21.

The third Thursday of each month, enjoy Music in the Park! This event includes music, ice cream and boxed lunches for those who tour the JenCare Senior Medical Center.
Seating will not be provided. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket. A cash food truck will be on site, or get a complimentary meal ticket available at JenCare Senior Medical Center (tickets for adults 55+ only).
Music in the Park will take place outdoors at Russell Lee Park, but in the case of bad weather the back-up indoor location is Southwick Community Center, located at 3621 Southern Ave.

Mag Bar's first ever multi-day, multi-genre music fest. Enter the Magnoliadome!
Four days of live music, multiple genres, and good times in the Magnoliadome. This is an all-ages festival so that everyone can enjoy the 40+ performances taking place! Listen to a variety of different bands including Stagecoach Inferno, Old Heavy Hands, Nowhere Fast, TrapKingKai, Eastwood, Bungalow Betty and more!
Ticket prices are $45 weekend pass (Fri, Sat, Sun - online only), $15 Friday, $20 Saturday or $20 Sunday.

Loads of family fun is headed our way with the Kosair Shriners BBQ Competition and Carnival! This event will feature live music, bounces houses, food, BBQ competition, games and more!
This BBQ competition will host several different categories including Overall Grand Champion, People's Choice, Chicken, Pork, Ribs and Brisket. All winners will receive a trophy or belt, and some even receive cash prizes! In addition to the BBQ contest, they will also host a cornhole tournament and a kids' cake decorating contest!

On the last Monday in July, Schnitzelburg crowds onto the sidewalk of George Hauck Way to eat bologna sandwiches, listen to ragtime music, and watch contestants swing a whittled broom stick in hopes of being crowned a World Champion.
Before that begins, enjoy the fun-filled days leading up to it with the Schnitzelburg Area Community Council!
On Saturday, enjoy the 2nd Annual Dainty FUNdraiser at The Merryweather featuring bands, drink specials, games, raffles, and more!
On Sunday, folks can enjoy a day full of fun for Open Hauck's at Hauck’s Corner. You'll even be able to visit the Dainty Museum!
Monday's event will feature the classic Dainty Contest, food trucks (+ bologna sandwiches!), and a beer garden. SACC will be selling shirts, koozies, and Dainty prints, tees, magnets, and stickers! Proceeds help SACC fund community projects.
New this year, check out the Dainty batting cage! Get your chance to play Dainty during the Dainty Fest in the brand new batting cage, brought to you by Brewgrass Homebrew Supply. Anyone over the age of 45 will be restricted from participating in the batting cage on Monday.

Get ready for another great installment of WFPK's Waterfront Wednesday!
This free concert series takes place on the Big Four Lawn in Louisville’s Waterfront Park. The Big Four Lawn is located next to the Big Four Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge. The shows open at 5 p.m., with music beginning promptly at 6 p.m. Performances for July 27th include Routine Caffeine (6 p.m.), Sarah Shook & the Disarmers (7:30 p.m.) and Moon Taxi (9 p.m.).
Bring your own lawn chairs or blanket. Outside alcohol is prohibited. No coolers, no glass, and pets.

The tables are turned, feminine wisdom triumphs, and laughter reigns supreme in this hilarious Elizabethan farce.
Louisville Improvisors Late Night Shakes 10:30 p.m. on June 11, June 25, July 9, and July 23 The Louisville Improvisors return for a seventh year with Late Night Shakes on select Saturdays bringing late night improvised Shakespeare plays created from audience suggestions.

Beyond Van Gogh is a new, truly immersive experience. While other shows use virtual reality or still images, Beyond Van Gogh breaks barriers by incorporating both still and moving art. Masterpieces, now freed from frames, come alive, appear and disappear, and flow across multi-surfaces.
Enjoy over 300 pieces of art over a 30,000 square foot area, including the iconic classics "The Starry Night", "Sunflowers", and "Café Terrace at Night". The show is accompanied with a beautiful score and many other surprises!
