The English Conversation Club, located the Louisville Main Library allows non-native speakers to practice English in a relaxed, informal setting with others. If you are learning the English language, or would like to practice conversing in English, come join us at the Conversation Club. Participants should have some basic knowledge of the English language before joining. Join as a student, or contact Danwen Zeng to volunteer!

+ Women of Color Entrepreneur Certificate Program at Bellarmine University
 Application Deadline: March 20, 2022
This initiative from the Rubel School of Business at Bellarmine University is fully funded by private organizations and provides the applicant with business training to start/grow a business. Also, all business ideas compete at the end of the program on a pitch contest and the best idea receives angel investment funds from one of our sponsors.
Last year, there were 10 participants who completed the certificate and the winner of the pitch contest received $10,000 in angel funding to support her business.

+ Center for Nonprofit Excellence is hosting a Virtual Mayoral Candidate Forum

We have invited all mayoral candidates so they can share how they expect their administration to partner with local nonprofits and support their efforts. (The primary is on Tuesday, May 17, and the election is on Tuesday, November 8.)
WHAT ARE YOUR QUESTIONS? We want to ensure that the candidates address the questions you want answers to. We are inviting CNPE members to send us up to three questions on this simple survey. Please list your questions in order of priority. We will sort the questions we receive and do our best to make sure all areas are covered. Questions/topics are due by midnight on Tuesday, March 8.

The One Love Louisville Ambassador Institute is a free, in-person training scheduled for one day only based on current lineup of presenters and lunch will be served. We will hear from experts as they cover a range of topics including We will hear from experts as they cover a range of topics including The Public Health Approach To Violence / Youth Involvement, OSHN Overview, Mental Health 101, and Community Engagement. This training, which has been attended by nearly 639 people since its inception in 2017, aims to inform participants of individual and collective efforts to reduce violence in Louisville.
