Traffic Guards Needed

The city of Louisville needs more traffic guards for our schools, and the LMPD is currently hiring. Responsibilities include helping children cross the street safely and directing the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. It is seasonal (9 months a year) part-time work (20 hours a week), so if you or someone you know are looking for a fulfilling job that isn't full-time, this might be perfect!

St. James Court Art Show - October 1, 2, and 3

The St. James Court Art Show, a tradition dating back to 1957, will be held next weekend. More than 600 artists from across the country will display their works at this free event held in historic Old Louisville. It will take place (rain or shine) from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday. Face masks are requested for those who are not fully vaccinated or are immunocompromised. Click here for more information, including a list of artists and parking instructions.
