Camp Zachary Taylor Neighborhood Association donates funds for improvements to Camp Zachary Taylor Memorial Park

Camp Taylor NA donation

Above, left to right: Louisville Metro Parks and Recreation Assistant Director Jason Canuel, Mary Hardin, Stella Kavanaugh, Phil Kavanaugh, Earl Wallace and D10 Legislative Assistant Geoff Wohl gathered for the donation.

Officers of the old Camp Zachary Taylor Neighborhood Association donated $2,200 in funds from the group's former bank account to Louisville Metro Parks and Recreation on Wednesday

The donation is to be used for future improvements to Camp Zachary Taylor Memorial Park.

Thanks to Phil Kavanaugh, Stella Kavanaugh, Mary Hardin, Earl Wallace and other members of the CZTNA for their longtime commitment to improving the community and for the group's generosity to Camp Taylor Memorial Park.

If you're interested in starting a neighborhood association or group, the Lucille Leggett Neighborhood Institute is a great place to start. The Neighborhood Institute equips neighborhood leaders with the resources necessary to effect positive change by acting through and with their neighborhood groups. For more information on the program, call 589-0343 or email.
