Guests Encouraged to Move Quicker Than a Sloth to Participate
The much-anticipated Louisville Zoo behind-the-scenes sloth experience goes on sale Wednesday, September 15 at 10 a.m. Sloth fans won’t want to be sloth-like in their response as the Zoo expects slots to fill quickly. Sloth experience sessions are available at launch for bookings starting in February 2022. Previous sessions were filled by those who signed up for the Zoo’s Sloth Early Mailing List.
Each sloth experience includes the opportunity to participate with Zoo staff in preparing the sloth's diet and visiting Sunni in her indoor exhibit. Guests will get to talk with keeper staff about the sloths, have the opportunity for a photo with Sunni, as well as receive a special keepsake from the experience.
This experience is available Friday – Sunday afternoons, at 1:30 p.m. (guests should arrive at the MetaZoo by 1:20 p.m.) and lasts approximately 30 – 45 minutes. Tickets to the sloth experience are $80 per person and can be purchased as an add-on option with a general admission ticket or purchased separately with a Zoo membership. Visit LouisvilleZoo.org/sloth-experience for more information and to purchase.
This experience is open to guests ages 6 and older only. It accommodates up to four individuals. The experience is rain or shine; no refunds or exchanges. All activities are subject to approval by Sunni, of course. At this time, this is the only behind-the-scenes experience or tour available for purchase.

September 9, 2021 – BBB serving Louisville, Southern Indiana, and Western Kentucky has concluded an investigation into a scam website masquerading as a former Elizabethtown auto dealership. The website, which was 62autosalesllc.com has since been taken down.
BBB began receiving reports in August of a website and Facebook business page claiming to represent 62 Auto Sales, an auto dealership in Elizabethtown that had permanently closed. The scammers behind the site and Facebook page used the good reputation built by 62 Auto Sales, as well as the former business’s image and address, to bilk unaware consumers out of thousands of dollars. Victims, believing they were purchasing vehicles online from a reputable dealership, wired money to the scammers and never received the vehicles in return.
Working with local authorities and the former owner of the actual 62 Auto Sales, BBB’s Investigation Department confirmed the scam and successfully shut down the scam website. “BBB employees work hard for a trustworthy marketplace through investigations and exposing fraud against consumers and businesses,” says Reanna Smith-Hamblin, President/CEO. “I am proud BBB was able to expose this scam and help shut down these scammers!”
At this time, the Facebook page claiming to represent 62 Auto Sales, which is https://www.facebook.com/62AutoSales-109195708096232 remains active. BBB warns consumers to not engage with this page or wire any money to anyone purporting to represent 62 Auto Sales on social media.
