A message from Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District's Environmental Coordinator...
Spring has definitely sprung and your grass is growing. Why not take advantage of the Lawn Care for Cleaner Air program and save up to $100 on a new, air-friendly, electric-powered mower? You can get rebates on electric string trimmers, electric blowers, and reel mowers too. Now is a great time to recycle that old, polluting equipment and save some cash on new gear that will make breathing a little easier for you and your community. You can also get larger rebates on more powerful equipment with our Lawn Care for Cleaner Air Professional program. Please see our website, louisvilleky.gov/lawncare, or call (502)574-6000 if you have any questions.

Supporting Local Business
A Message from LMPD Division 4 Resource Officers Rausch...
Officer Lanham and I (Officer Rausch) joined Code Enforcement Officers at La Chandeleur Creperie (located at 304 W Woodlawn Ave) on June 2nd for a quick work lunch. We believe it is important to support locally owned businesses because it helps to build stronger communities. It links neighbors together economically and socially and contributes to overall community well-being. Local businesses are owned and operated by your neighbors so they care about and are invested in the well-being of your community and its future. If you visit La Chandeleur Creperie make sure to try the Honey Butter Chicken and the Beignets with Bourbon Chocolate Ganache. They were delicious 😊
