From the desk of
Councilman Mark Fox
District 13
Well 2021 continues to deliver on the challenges of 2020, but there are some bright spots on the horizon. Hopefully some of you have already gotten access to the COVID-19, while the rest of us look forward to becoming eligible when our phase gets the call.
On the economic development front, the first 25 days of the new year have been great for District 13 with the opening of two new businesses. I was honored to cut the grand opening ribbons for Weekend Burgers and Good Karma Yoga.
Weekend Burgers is located at 5600 National Turnpike and is owned by District 13 resident Mo Hasecic. Most of us know Mo from his very successful food truck that has made our neighborhood a regular afternoon stop for the last several years. Weekend Burgers has an extensive menu, great service, and the burgers are off the chain! Don’t forget to indulge yourself with the famous homemade desserts.
Good Karma Yoga is located at 8104 National Turnpike and is owned by Rebecca Cox. Rebecca brings years of yoga training and expertise to our area in a beautifully designed studio that creates a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Rebecca and her staff are ready to help you get started, improving your health, and your ability to relax and recharge.
Welcome to you both! We look forward to many years of shared success in our neighborhood.
My best to everyone,
Mark |
