1. Immediately report any suspicious person, or vehicle to (502) 574-7111 or (502) 574-TIPS. This is not just for vehicle vandalism but drug activity, home/garage vandalism - ANY suspicious activity! Make a report!
2. Never leave anything of value in your vehicle; this includes laptops, purses, GPS devices and even loose change.
3. Always lock your vehicle doors.
4. Remove garage door openers from vehicles usually parked outside.
5. Do not leave your keys in your vehicle. Do not warm up your vehicles without you in them!
6. Do not leave the windows of you vehicle open, or partially open.
7.  Try to park your vehicle in a well-lit area.
8. Never leave a firearm unprotected in your vehicle

Kentucky Shakespeare’s 2020 annual spring parks tour was canceled due to COVID-19 but was remounted for one performance only, filmed on the Central Park stage in August, made possible by Louisville Metro Council Members and LG&E. The production is now available at this link for District 12 residents to view, and it has also been delivered to district schools for viewing.

ABOUT THE PRODUCTION: With a small cast, compact sets, and simple tour costumes, the story of the Danish prince set on the path of revenge by his father's ghost comes to life in an intimate performance style.

Crystian Wiltshire plays the title role in this production. He's joined by the talented ensemble cast of Jon Becraft, Jennice Butler, Gregory Maupin, Tesse McShane, Mollie Murk, Tyler Rosenblatt, and Tyler Tate. Associate Artistic Director Amy Attaway directs.

Christmas trees turned into mulch will be offered back to citizens for home use. Those wishing to receive mulch must bring an appropriate container in which to carry it. All lights and ornaments should be removed from trees before they are dropped off or set out for collection.

Metro Public Works will also provide curbside pickup of Christmas trees within the Urban Services District (the old City of Louisville boundaries) after the holiday. Residents with City curbside yard waste pickup may set their Christmas trees and greenery out on their regular collection day. Trees must not be in plastic bags, and all decorations must be removed. 

Residents normally serviced by private waste haulers should check with those companies to see whether and when tree pickup is available.

Did you know that Pit Bulls are the most overbred dog breed in Louisville and make up the majority of the LMAS Shelter pet population? Pit Bulls can be great companions to families, despite stigma because of their breed.
