Volunteers Needed for Louisville Metro Public Health & Wellness

From the Louisville Metro Public Health and Wellness COVID-19 Vaccination Team:

We are looking for a dedicated team of volunteers to work directly with the health department staff to deliver the COVID-19 vaccine to our first responders during the first phase of the COVID-19 vaccination rollout.

LMPHW is recruiting both non-medical and medical volunteers. Non-medical community volunteers will assist with scheduling and confirming appointments, collecting documents, temperature checks, and restocking supplies. Medically trained volunteers (specialized training and licensing required) will assist with administering the vaccine, medical screening, and triage.

There will be three different shifts available each day – 7:30 to 11:30 a.m., 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. The first phase will kick off on January 4 and continue over the next several weeks, Monday through Friday.

We will be hosting a training for all volunteers, walking through the whole event and discussing each role.

We would love for YOU to be part of our team! Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions at 574-6719 and please sign up at http://bttr.im/3mfz0
