+ Planning to Reopen Your Business? Check Out What to Include When Submitting Your Plan
Businesses and associations are encouraged to submit ideas for reopening that discuss possible strategies and challenges that their business or sector will face in safely reopening. The proposals will aid the Gov. Andy Beshear and the Kentucky Department for Public Health in evaluating at what point different types of businesses may reopen safely.
A proposal is not required to reopen, but businesses should prepare for reopening by familiarizing themselves with CDC guidance on providing personal protective equipment (PPE) to employees, adequate access to hand sanitizer and disinfectant, and minimal direct contact between employees and the public. Reopening plans can be submitted online at: https://secure.kentucky.gov/formservices/TeamKentucky/ReopenKY or through email at HealthyAtWork@ky.gov.
