+ $500,000 matching grant challenge issued to support Small Business Continuity Loan Program
Louisville Entrepreneurship Acceleration Partnership (LEAP) and Moolathon are hosting The Grind, a virtual 5k run/walk, to not only drive donations for the Small Business Continuity Loan Program but also motivate the community to stay active and connected.
The Grind’s entry fee is $10, which includes a finisher’s T-shirt. Proceeds will benefit the Small Business Continuity Loan Program, which provides zero-interest loans to our smallest businesses. The program was created in partnership with Louisville Metro, LHOME, Render Capital and Greater Louisville Inc.

+ Guidance for those who have not yet received their stimulus payments - BankOnLouisville.org
"Some of the people who need the economic impact payments the most might be some folks who are unbanked," said Erin Waddell, with Metro Louisville's Office of Resilience and Community Services. "If they don't have a bank account on file with the IRS, then they're going to be waiting months for their paper check."
BankOnLouisville.org is providing information on how to open a bank account and how to get your bank account information to the IRS.

JCPS moved to remote learning while the community practices social distancing to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) is the platform students are using to continue educational instruction. During NTI days, students can receive instructional support from their specific teachers for this work.
