+ Mayor Fischer announces One Louisville: COVID-19 Response Fund to help Louisvillians impacted by virus outbreak
A coalition of government and philanthropy has joined together to create the One Louisville: COVID-19 Response Fund that will rapidly deploy resources to households, businesses, and community-based organizations (nonprofit organizations) working at the front lines of the Louisville-area coronavirus outbreak.
Please note that eligibility requirements include proof of SSN/ITIN copies for all household members. (Or proof of age for youth under 2 years old)

Beginning on Wednesday March 18, Some grocery stores in both Kentucky and southern Indiana have announced special shopping hours for the elderly shoppers and shoppers whose immunity systems are compromised.

+USCIS offices temporarily closed to the public in response to COVID19
Effective March 18, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is suspending in-person services at its field offices, asylum offices and Application Support Centers (ASCs) to help slow the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). This suspension of services will be effective until at least April 1.

+ Kentucky unemployment insurance implements new procedures
In an effort to serve the large influx of Kentuckians who are filing for unemployment insurance (UI) benefits as efficiently as possible during the COVID-19 outbreak, the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet (EWDC) is implementing new UI filing procedures and starting new local office phone lines for customers.

The quickest way to respond to the 2020 Census is online with your Census ID, which easily links your response with your address. Your Census ID can be found on the letter or questionnaire you receive from the Census Bureau.
However, you can still respond if you don't have a Census ID.
