Many thanks to the team of AT&T employees who spent a recent morning volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul. Because of you, many families will experience a happier holiday. |
The women of AT&T took a moment to proudly display their beautiful body art much to the delight of everyone. |

Councilwoman made the rounds in District 4 bringing cheer and much gratitude to folks working to create a great connected community.
Look closely and you notice the RGB collar tattoo in honor of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Keep your eyes open - "the collar" shows up everywhere!
Hank Mangeot has spent a lifetime serving others and bringing AT&T volunteers throughout our region. Thank you! |

Excitement filled the air at the James Graham Brown School on a recent morning as K-5 students passed by this mural on their way into the auditorium.
Smiling faces and happy folks are waiting to greet you as soon as you walk in the front door at the Brown School downtown.

Ellen Yunker from the Fund for the Arts met the Councilwoman who took the stage and introduced the Commonwealth Theatre production of Rumpelstiltskin.
It takes all of us working together to create an arts-rich school where children can excel and reach their full potential. These folks were backstage making sure everything ran smoothly.

If you are heading downtown anytime soon you should drop in the lobby of the Ali Center and check out these beautiful paintings and murals. |
Whilst you are visiting the Ali Center take a few minutes and check out the amazing gift shop with lots of cool merchandise for sale. |
Councilwoman is always making new friends and looks forward to hearing their stories. Marion came to the United States when she was six years old and has remained forever grateful. |

Smitha Paily teaches classical and modern Indian dances at the Natya Kendra Dance Academy. They recently performed during a fundraising event to benefit the WHAS Crusade for Children. |

YES - all these years later, Councilwoman is still hanging out with many of the former members of the West Louisville Boys Choir. She always said, "It's more than music, it's sounds of HOPE!" |
Bishop Dennis Lyons and Raymond Smith gathered at Greater Israel Missionary Baptist Church for the annual Pre-Thanksgiving dinner service. Uplifting music, inspiring words and great cooking for a standing room only crowd. Thank you! |
Dare to Care Food Bank folks welcomed a large crowd to Byck Elementary for the 50th anniversary celebrating the life and legacy of Bobby Ellis. At nine years old he died of starvation on Thanksgiving Eve in 1969.
Brian Riendeau and Jud Hendrix teamed up to bring attention to the importance of making healthful food options accessible to everyone.
It takes courage to "Dare to Care" enough to take action and help someone today. Get up and do it again tomorrow.
One child, one life lost, one light, one flower. We can save the world one person at a time.
Take courage in hand and dare to care. Love one another.
Happy Thanksgiving.

The Synergy Project, a year-long effort, provides an inclusive process to achieve an overarching purpose designed to: Further strengthen relationships between residents and police by respecting two important societal values: Public Safety (the combination of effective policing and government services and resident involvement that creates a safe, secure, and livable city) and Public Trust (A deep belief that police officers, those in government services, and residents will treat each other with fairness, equity, dignity, and respect; and will act in the interest of one another’s and the collective wellbeing). Healthy, thriving communities need to achieve success in both of these areas. Headlines across our nation are filled with examples where communities struggle and become reactive. The Synergy Project is designed to engage a broad cross-section of residents. The goal is to ensure differing voices are heard and perspectives explored for the development of strategies to achieve a safer community where both police officers and residents feel respected and valued.
