The event planners have provided our office with a Community Hotline, (502) 264-9933. Please feel free to call it with issues and concerns related to these events. The hotline will be monitored by operators during each of the three events. We hope the hotline will be a valuable tool for the event planners going forward.
The festivals are Hometown Rising, Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life, which will be at the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Expo Center, 937 Phillips Lane. The festivals will begin September 14.
Please note that Phillips Lane, from the viaduct at I-65 to Gate #1 of the Kentucky Exposition Center, will be closed during these events now through Tuesday, October 1. The entrances of the businesses and Phillips Lane from the intersection of Preston Highway to the viaduct at I-65 will remain open.
Know these illegal D10 dumpers? Let us know.
A District 10 resident contacted Solid Waste Management Services Monday regarding an incident they caught on their home surveillance camera. They captured two men in a red pickup truck illegally dumping a couch behind their home.
If you know who these men are, call 574-8455 or complete a form here. You can give tips anonymously.
Remember, you can take up to three large household items per day to the Waste Reduction Center, 636 Meriwether Avenue for free. |
