YARD WASTE COLLECTION DELAYED
As a reminder, Yard Waste Collection throughout the Urban Services District is delayed several days.
The email from the Solid Waste Management Department read, in part:
"Please be advised due to equipment issues we have fallen behind on Yard Waste Collection. As it stands, and until such time equipment is made available to us, we will be working an estimated 3-4 days behind schedule."
Yesterday, Thursday, was Yard Waste Collection day throughout the Urban Services District within the 26th District. Please leave it at curbside until it is picked up. This may be several days.
We appreciate your patience with the Yard Waste Collection and Solid Waste Management offices as they work through this problem.
Please share this message with your neighbors and others who live in the Urban Services District.
During the Budget process, one of the items which was preserved was the continued progress on a ten-year plan to upgrade the pavement conditions throughout Louisville Metro. Councilman Ackerson put this plan in place in 2015 and we're pleased to be able to announce the following street paving plans for the upcoming weeks:
Allison Way from Horton Ave to Kelly Way
Deibel Court from Deibel Way to dead end
Harvey Lane from Redbud Lane to Mylanta Place
Horton Avenue from Rosemont Avenue to Midland Avenue
Midland Avenue from Horton Avenue to dead end
Mylanta Place from Deibel Way to dead end
Stanton Boulevard from Hikes Lane to Allison Way.
We are working with Public Works to get Klondike Lane paved, in its entirety, sometime this summer. As soon as we know when, we will let you know.
