"Pick Up the Parks" Event

Friday - Saturday, July 5th & 6th

Louisville Parks and Recreation will host the first-ever “Pick-up the Parks” Days. The event will function as a do-it yourself volunteer project for individuals, families, neighborhood groups and organizations. Louisville Parks and Recreation encourages anyone and everyone to stop by their neighborhood park to check for litter. Any litter collected can be left in a tied off bag next to any trashcan in the park. Contact Volunteer Coordinator Sarah Flarsheim at call (502) 574-7275 ahead of the clean-up to ensure there are enough supplies.

LMPD 4th Division Advisory Board Meeting

The LMPD 4thDivision Advisory Board, a group of citizens representing the neighborhoods of the 4thDivision, meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month, 6:30 to 7:30 pm, at the Old Louisville Neighborhood & Visitors Center in Central Park, 1340 S. 4thSt., 40208. Major Joshua Judah meets with the Advisory Board to exchange Division news and hear community concerns. It is an opportunity for you to discuss issues in your community with the Division commanding officer and support the Division in its mission to keep our community safe.
