Germantown Baseball Parade!

CM in parade

The third time was the charm for the Germantown Baseball Opening Day Parade!

After two rainouts, the parade went on this past Sunday, with Councilman Mulvihill and his daughter Katie riding in style.

Jim Wayne (past State Representative), Morgan McGarvey (State Senator), and Lisa Willner (current State Representative) made sure they had plenty of candy for the parade.

The annual parade - this is the 67th year for Germantown Baseball - starts on Goss Avenue and leads to the Germantown Baseball fields.

Councilman Mulvihill spoke with Keith Ingram, President of Germantown Baseball, at the park. Thanks to Ingram and all the volunteers who have made Germantown Baseball possible for so many years.

Grand opening of LNC's Nature Play Space

LNC play space with Male HS creek class

Above, Councilman Mulvihill, Mayor Greg Fischer and members of Male High School's Creek Class celebrated at the Louisville Nature Center Saturday.

In collaboration with the Creek Class from Louisville Male High School, the Louisville Nature Center has created a natural play space for the community.

The play space includes a pea gravel pit, dirt pit, fort building station, climbing station, rotting logs, music area, and a mud pie station. This is an area that will fuel creativity and imagination of the children that play here and add to the visitor experience for the Louisville Nature Center.
