Street sweeping season resumes March 18 in Louisville. Click here to receive alerts when street sweeping is headed to your area. Just enter your address in the MyLouisville box.
Street sweeping rules: Street cleaning signs are posted prior to 5 p.m. on the business day before sweeping occurs. The signs alert residents that there is No Parking between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on sweeping day. Vehicles parked in No Parking areas are subject to citation and/or towing. Residents should not park in affected areas until after 5 p.m. even if it appears an area has been swept, as sweepers may return before that time. The No Parking zone covers both sides of the street, though signs may only be posted on one side.

The Miracle League of Louisville is a baseball league and complex for children and adults with physical, cognitive, and/or emotional disabilities. This one-of-a-kind, fully-inclusive complex will allow children of all abilities to safely play baseball in an organized league. The Miracle League field features a specially designed, rubberized surface to prevent injuries and accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, and other devices. The adjacent playground will bring children, families and the community to the Miracle League for a common goal…to play together. The Miracle League will not exclude any player based on financial need and we want our field to be filled with children and young adults playing baseball on organized teams this summer. Please join them on Tuesday, March 19 for more information on how you can be part of this incredible experience! For further information prior to the 19th go to The Miracle League of Louisville | http://miracleleaguelouisville.org

These signs are regularly and illegally posted on telephone poles and in the right-of-way of businesses and busy intersections. They clutter our streets and eventually fall down littering our roadways, sewers and environment. If you walk by these signs or live somewhere where these signs are posted, help clean up our community by taking them down and throwing them away.
