 Music festival announcements reveal some of industry's biggest acts are headed to Louisville.
With spring upon us in the Bluegrass, that can mean only one thing, well maybe a few...horse racing, bourbonism and Kentucky Derby Festival! Additionally, some of the biggest announcements hit the scene in Louisville over the past week with Forecastle and Hometown Rising releasing lineups for their music festivals in the Derby City.
The Killers, the Avett Brothers and Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals will headline the 17th annual Forecastle Festival at the three-day waterfront event July 12th - July 14th. For more information visit Forecastlefest.com
Hometown Rising Country Music & Bourbon Festival, a new music festival by Danny Wimmer Presents, also the producers of Bourbon & Beyond and Louder than Life, takes place at the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Fair & Expo Center this summer. The lineup will bring with it some of country music's biggest names. Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Little Big Town will headline the festival, which features more than 30 acts scheduled over two days.
